Another
Manifesting Tool
I
went to the Mike Dooley conference in Tucson a few weeks ago and
he helped me put somethings into perspective about my coaching practice,
and I thought something I learned that day might be helpful to you
too.
Many
of you know I was an attorney for 18 years and have been focusing
on getting my coaching practice going for the last 4 years or so.
And, I've helped many of you to get your own businesses up and running,
yet, lately I feel like I've been pushing the river (swimming upstream)
to grow my own coaching practice. I work harder and harder, and
it does not grow. It has confused me because I have been SO CLEAR
that I am meant to Coach and have a full-time practice. Yet, I am
not "attracting" that full time practice into my life.
What is going on?
Well,
Mike Dooley, of The Secret fame and Notes from the Universe
(see www.tut.com)
says I've been concentrating on the "cursed hows" to be happy, rather
than the end result I really want, which is happiness. In other
words, I have been focusing on a thing, a project, ie a coaching
practice, thinking that if only this happened, I would be fulfilled
in my career and abundance would flow. I am stifling the energy
of career fulfillment and abundance from coming in through other
sources, as I am focusing so much energy in this particular direction.
I am a good little worker bee, so working hard is easy for me. Relaxing
and trusting and having faith that the universe will meet my needs
on this is way harder. So, he says live in the place of the end
result, the happiness, and allow it to flow from other directions
also.
OK,
just please notice I didn't say sit around and OM all day. I said
NOTICE and ALLOW.

 There
